    Friday, Feb. 18 • 12:45 - 2:45 p.m., Grand Peninsula D

This year's luncheon will host four very special events!

    • 2011 CalABA Leadership in Advocacy Award. CalABA is proud to honor Dr. Greg Wagner, who retired in December after serving for 19 years as Senior Supervising Psychologist for the California Department of Developmental Services. His work in the state of California has provided substantial benefits to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. His efforts have resulted in improved access to high quality behavior analytic intervention by those who are in need of such services. In addition, he has done outstanding work in helping the State of California recognize the importance of the BACB credentials in serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
    • 2011 BACB Michael Hemingway Award. CalABA is proud to host this year's presentation of this special BACB award honoring "...an individual distinguished for their contributions to advance the science and/or champion behavior analysis." This year's honoree is also very special: Dr. Greg Wagner!
    • Public Policy Presentation. James Gross will speak about public policy and the profession and practice of behavior analysis. Mr. Gross is a partner in the California law firm Nielsen Merksamer Parrinello Gross & Leoni, LLP. He specializes in government law and the legislative process and is one of the original members of the firm's government law section. Over the last 20 years, he has participated in the development and passage of major legislation affecting the delivery of health and human services in California.
    • B. F. Skinner Foundation Auction, with auctioneer Dr. Mark Sundberg. Bid on rare B. F. Skinner memorabilia in this always lively and entertaining auction. Here is your chance to own a piece of history that once belonged to Skinner himself! Proceeds help fund the work of both the B. F. Skinner Foundation and CalABA.

Be sure to pre-register for the luncheon to make sure you have a seat for this event, as it is expected to sell out quickly.
